June 123 Challenge

Well, it's a new month so that means it must be time for a new 123 Challenge!  This month's challenge is....

WORD: CHANGE

COLOUR: BLUE

TECHNIQUE: Using WASHI TAPE

My inspiration for this month came from this picture that I had found on Pinterest:

Of course, I had to put my spin on it.  I started with a journal page which already had some ink on it and placed my pieces of washi tape and cloth tape.  I then mixed some Matisse Derivan paint with impasto medium to make it nice and thick and painted it through a stencil.

I'm not really happy with how the photo of this page turned out, but here is a close-up which shows a little better.
